Membrane Tube Diffuser

A membrane tube diffuser, also widely known as a fine bubble membrane tube diffuser, is a high-efficiency aeration device designed for wastewater treatment aerobic tanks. It replaces traditional coarse bubble aerators with an elastic membrane tube structure to produce ultra-fine, uniform air bubbles. We primarily offer two main types: EPDM tubular diffusers for standard wastewater and PTFE tubular diffusers for harsh, corrosive wastewater conditions.

The entire diffuser consists of a rigid support pipe and a flexible elastic membrane sleeve. The core performance depends on its precision membrane structure and micro-hole opening design.

When the air blower starts, compressed air fills the inner pipe and slightly expands the rubber/PTFE membrane. Thousands of pre-slit micro-openings on the membrane surface open instantly, releasing dense fine bubbles along the entire tube length. This realizes full-range uniform air distribution and greatly improves oxygen transfer efficiency.

When the blower stops working, air pressure disappears immediately. The elastic membrane automatically shrinks and resets, closing all micro-tight slits tightly. This unique one-way check structure effectively prevents sewage backflow, sludge infiltration and pipeline blockage - solving the biggest pain point of traditional aerators.
