Vertical Agitator

Overview

Vertical agitator is widely used in the mixing stage of the processes in industries like chemical, water treatment, food, papermaking to help with liquid mixing and solid particle dissolution. Vertical agitators have a simple structure. The impellers are usually made of flat steel, typically has 2 to 4 pieces, bolted or welded on the hub. Based on the shape of the impellers, the agitators can be divided into flat paddle agitators and inclined paddle agitators. Flat paddle agitators produce radial force, while the inclined paddle agitators generates axial force.
